  7. Grammarian is POSTCARDWARE. If you use any of the files located in
  8. this archive you are required to send a postcard to:

  21.     Grammarian is a program designed to look at text files and check
  22. for word usage, spelling problems, and some grammatical rules.
  23. Grammarian may not be right in everything it finds but it does
  24. present some good reminders.
  25.  
  26.     Use of Grammarian is simple. Place 'GRAMMAR.PRG' and 'GRAMMAR.INF'
  27. in the same path. Run 'GRAMMAR.PRG' in medium or high resolution and
  28. load the file you wish to check via the file selector. If Grammarian
  29. finds anything of interest in the file, the program will stop and
  30. display some text about the possible problem encountered. To continue
  31. with the check, press any key or click the mouse. You may also exit
  32. Grammarian at any point by pressing 'ESCAPE'.

  34.     With a standard text editor or word processor that loads and
  35. saves in ASCII format you can edit or delete the grammatical checks.
  36. The format of the 'GRAMMAR.INF' file is as follows:
  37.  
  38.     FIRST LINE - will be displayed when any grammatical error is
  39.     found.
  40.  
  41.     ANY LINE BEGINNING WITH '>' - indicates a word or group of words
  42.     to check for within your document. Spaces may be appropriate to
  43.     narrow the search field. i.e. If you are wanting to find 'its' and
  44.     you entered a line in 'GRAMMAR.INF' of '>its', Grammarian would
  45.     give you a warning at 'zits', 'itself', 'bitset', etc. To narrow
  46.     the search, enter in 'GRAMMAR.INF' of '> its '.
  47.  
  48.     TEXT LINES - these lines describe the grammatical error
  49.     encountered and are displayed on the screen. View the
  50.     'GRAMMAR.INF' file for a complete understanding of how the file
  51.     is constructed.
